Once you are inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, there are some essential parts of it to keep in mind. Some include:
Volunteering
Volunteering is an act of service and it plays a key part in NJHS.
Participation
Participation in events, meetings, and volunteering opportunities is imperative when in the NJHS.
Service hours
There is a required number of service hours every school year you are in the Society.
Induction
When you are accepted into NJHS, there is an induction ceremony where you will take the oath and will receive a medal and award.
Fundraising
Fundraising is essential to help others in need, one example is raising money to plant trees.
